Remodeled in 2011 north hall offers residents some of the largest rooms on campus as well as ease of access to shops and classes while providing a computer lab. Residential college one south hall was built in 2008 as part of the residential college one complex rcc a beautifully landscaped area located on the west side of campus. The rcc includes the three residence halls north hall west hall and south hall as well as a fourth building east hall that houses the community s 24 hour front desk staff offices and a faculty in residence. North hall was built in 1960 as a hotel.

In 2016 we completed a new pilot classroom in harvard hall room 202 which contrary to expectations about what is necessary to facilitate change in classrooms included a low tech rather than high tech approach to best support new modes of learning and teaching. North hall is our newest residential facility which combines traditional style living with modern convenience. Because every north hall dorm has a private bathroom residents have a great deal of privacy. Hastings hall the oldest residence hall at hls consists of 56 suites accommodating 97 residents.
